Post
I am over at Jay's home and we are looking at my homepage. I am going to put on a little more.
I called this Townsend house but since we live in a trailer, maybe it should be My Trailer Life. Anyway thats the way it looks, I could probably change it later. I have a lot of pictures of the trailer that I would like to put on this site. Also pictures of friends and relatives.

This is a picture that I took inside of the trailer. It was of a Columbo tape that I recorded with my VCR. My wife is a big fan of Columbo's. I recorded just about all the Columbo programs on tape. I was looking on eBay and seen the complete series on DVD. I bought them for her and now she is one happy camper.
I tried to go to my homepage and all I got was a blank screen. Thought I would post the message and see if it shows up.
This is the front of the shed that we built. I put two doors on so that it would open up wide enough so that we wouldn't have any problem getting our good junk in there. I have one computer in there that is networked to the ones that I have in the trailer. My grandson come over and plays with it. That keeps him from wanting to use the one that I am on. Also the neighbor kids come over and use it to do there school homework. Being on a network, they can use the printer that I have in the shed. I have that little table that I use to work on computers. I have a network cable there too. That way if I need to downloaded drivers or software, I don't have to use one of my other computers. I just set up one of my extra monitors, keyboard and mouse and get with it. I have a bunch in the shed that I play around with and every now and then, I help the neighbors get their computers going.

This is a picture of a sidewalk that I put in the backyard. The neighbor was moving and had all these brick that he wanted to get rid of so he gave them to me. I had been wanting to put some kind of walk there but hadn't got around to it. The Red Apple I planted is some starts the I got from one of the other trailers down the way. The little I found growing in the frontyard. Here you can see one side on the shed that we built.
This is part of the backyard. The people were walking through my flowers when they went to read the meters. I thought that I had better leave a walk and maybe that would stop that. You can also see the shed that my wife and I built. I hope to find other pictures of the shed so you can get a better look at it. Anyway so much for this picture.
This is a picture of part on the backyard behind the trailer. As you can see there is another trailer park right next to the one that we live in. I was working out there on day and the girl that lives in the trailer behind us said " My front yard is getting to look better every day". As you can see, they don't have a front yard. Just a place beside their trailer to park there cars. The trailer it self is about 2 feet off the road. The plants I planted is Red Apple. This is real good ground cover. That is one thing about me. I hate to mess with weeds.

Here is the front of the trailer. We set out here in the afternoon and talk with our friends that live in the trail park. We spend time to with our friends walking around the trailer park. 5 times around is one mile. We start out making that mile, but my wife's leg started to get bad and we were down to two laps. She went to the doctor and found the she had a fracture. She had a hip replacement a couple years before this. She hit a speed bump in a parking lot and I guess that is when it happened. We haven't been walking for the last 6 month and we sure do miss doing it.
This is a picture of a electronic microscope that I bought at a yardsale for $2.00. It didn't have the software with it. I was in the box that it came in with the manual. The only probably was that the box and the manual had got wet. I tried to dry out the manual so that I could find what I needed to get it going. No luck.
http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/optics/intelplay/ This site has a better looking picture.
I went on the internet and search for Intel QX3 Microscope. I was able to download the manual and the software to get is going. The file that I needed was 100 meg. With being on cable with a 3 meg connection, I had no problem downloading it. If I had been on a 56 connection, I would have had to find the software to break the file into small pieces.
I have a network card that I am scopping out. You may be able to see it on the screen. I will put a picture on this site later. With this microscope, you can take pictures of what you are looking at. You can see too in this picture that I have a video camera setup. I had been talking to my sister in Kansas and my brother in Sacromento, California.

Thought that I would cut of that extra fuzz. I look a little red in this picture. We spent 3 days up in the sun fishing. This was up in the desert where the sun really shines. Next time I may know better but don't bet on it. Anyway on that trip, we caught 2 catfish. Not much for setting there we days but we had fun doing it. Cleaning those fish wasn't not cherry but once we got home and fried those suckers, it was all worth it. We did a bunch of other stuff while we were up there too. We had some relatives and some friends that lived in that area. We also went out to breakfast we the friends that live up there. It was good to get out.

This is a picture that I took of myself with the video camera on my computer. I was looking a little fuzzy in this picture. It is a lot newer picture then that last picture that I put on this site. Being retired a person has a lot of time to play around with computers. I have a bunch of video camers and digital cameras that I bought at yardsales and at the swapmeet. That is one thing that I like to do on the weekends. Go out and look at all the good junk and see if I can buy it for next to nothing. I have so much good junk that I finally had to put it in Excel to keep track of it.
I was having trouble update the changes that I made to the last post that I made. Just wanted to check and see if this will get the thing working right again.
Here on one thing that I was into pretty heavy for awhile. This is a SmartPad for the Palm . It has a notebook with it and a pen that works with the pad. It has a keyboard so that you can type right on the palm. I bought the smartpad at a yardsale for $.25 with the software. I didn't know just what is was when I bought it. I look it up on the internet and found that it sell for big bucks.

The palm the you see in the picture, I bought it at the swapmeet for a dollar. It had a busted screen and didn't work. I had another one that I bought at a yardsale for $5.00 that worked but was short of features because it was a demo. I went on the internet and found out how to change screens. Here is a link to that site.

It worked just find. The one demo had 1 meg memory and this other one had 2 meg. This made me very happy. So as you can see, I had $6.25 in the whole project. Not too bad of a deal.

This is a picture of my computer corner. In a little trailer, you don't have that much room. The keyboard I put on my lap. I have 4 computer networked together. I have another one in the shed that we build. My grandson can play on that one and won't be bugging me for mine. I have a lot more computer related items. I will put pictures of some of the other junk that I have later.
I thought that I would be able to upload an image from the page where you create the post for your webpage. I tried an got an error. I guess that I will just have to keep trying until I get to know this program. At least I got one picture on the website that I am working on. Well if I ever get this working right, I will tell other people about it. Maybe I will get my friends and relation on too. Well here is hoping. No more pictures at this time.
